We thought we were getting smarter AI, but OpenAI's real innovation is building a hidden marketplace for cognition. What unsettles me most is how the router will inevitably reshape what questions we even think to ask, turning curiosity into a monetizable input before we realize it.
It is indeed a very delicate moment for the brand: to start making money without creating a negative perception. Freemium is giving a taste to what’s next & better or removing boundaries. Now introducing advertising is introducing a new potential bias and raising an eyebrow on privacy. I feel here Google has better ground than Meta or OpenAI on making it still valuable. I wish openAI had forked more dramatically features between free and premium - so that the router behaves differently. Now let’s watch carefully the answer bias now.
A fairly accurate assessment.
Appreciate you taking the time to read and leave this nice comment !

Exactly ! Quite logical / probable outcome
There is no question this update was as much of a corporate repositioning as it was an attempt at improving its models. Nice analysis.
I had no idea, thanks much for this insight.
